Swinford GAA 50/50 draw

This weeks draw was held in Moores and Padraic McNeela won €667
Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Quinns on the 24th July. Draw envelopes are available at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Senior League Division 4

In what could have been a tricky fixture the Swinford team played well to win by right points away to Ballintubber this morning.
The game started very well with a goal after 23 seconds by Mark McNicholas followed by points from Mark Forkan, Jason McLoughlin, Darren Campbell, Mark Forkan and Jason McLoughlin.
It was 16 minutes before Ballintubber got their first point which they following up with a goal.
We added further first half points from Mark McNicholas, Jason McLoughlin and Darren Campbell to leave it at the break Ballintubber 1-1 Swinford 1-8
Mark Forkan opened the scoring in the second half followed by a Darren Campbell point. The home team pegged one back before two more points from Darren Campbell.
Ballintubber got another one back before substitute Kevin McShea got our last point In the last 10 minutes Ballintubber added two further points.
In the end Swinford won on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-5.
