This weeks draw for Swinford GAA 50/50 draw was held in Julians on Tuesday 8th March and Conor Kennedy won €623. Envelopes are available in most business premises and online throughwww.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in the Whitehouse on the 15th March. Draw envelopes are now also available at 3 for €5.

Michael Walsh Intermediate League

Swinford enjoyed a hard fought win over Bonniconlon on a cold evening away from home in the Michael Walsh Intermediate League winning by 3-6 to 0-7. Short report on our website.

Swinford v Donegal GAA

We played a very enjoyable game against the Donegal gardai in Letterkenny on Saturday 27th, winning on a scoreline of Swinford 3-11 Donegal Gardai 1-13 Goals from Jack McDonnell (2) and Mark Forkan.

Swinford GAA thank our friends in the Donegal Garda for welcoming us to Letterkenny.

This weeks draw for Swinford GAA 50/50 draw was held in Bolands on Tuesday 23 February and Michael Walsh of Kinaffe won €711. Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Franks Place, Killasser on the 1st March. Draw envelopes are now also available at 3 for €5.

Swinford v Donegal Gardai

On Saturday 27 February Swinford GAA will play a Donegal Gardai selection at O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny at 2-30m. This is our return trip after the Donegal Gardai appearance at the official opening of Robert McCallion Memorial Park.

After the game there will be a presentation at the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny.

Membership
Club membership is now open for 2016, please contact a club officer or visit our website.
The price of membership remains the same as previous years:

Adult Player: €60,
Non-Playing Membership €20,
Under 18: €40, 2 children in family €70 and 3 or more children in family €100.

Underage League
The league schedule has been fixed for the underage teams. Our minor team are out on Sunday March 13th, our Under16 team on Sunday March 6th and our two U14 teams on Thursday 31st March. Full fixtures to come

Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Bolands on the 23rd February. Draw envelopes are now also available at 3 for €5.

Club Meeting
A meeting of Swinford GAA club will take place in the Gateway Hotel on Saturday evening 20th February at 6pm. All members are asked to attend.

Michael Walsh Intermediate League

The 2016 Michael Walsh Intermediate league begins on the weekend of the 20/21 February. We have been drawn in Group 3 with Westport, Bonniconlon and Parke/Keelogues. Crimlin. Our first game is home to Westport on Sunday 21st February at 12pm at Robert McCallion Memorial Park.

Club Meeting

The draw has taken place for the 2016 Intermediate and Junior Championship and we are drawn as follows:

Our intermediate team will be away to Kiltimagh on the weekend of the 15th May and then home to Tourmakeady and away to Moy Davitts and our junior team are home to Ardagh on the weekend of the 11th June and then home to Balla and away to Ballina Stephenites B.

Strength & Conditioning Training

The gym upstairs in the community centre will be open for strength and conditioning from 7pm to 10 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening for Swinford GAA members with a qualified coach at each session. Each session costs €2 and there will be a sign in book in operation.
