Swinford GAA 50/50 draw

This weeks draw was held in Whitehouse and Cian Campbell of Chapel Street won €405.
Envelopes are available in most business premises and online throughΒ www.swinfordgaa.ieΒ where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Moores on the 13th March. Draw envelopes are available at €2 each or 3 for €5.

There is a club meeting on Friday 9th March 7pm in Gateway Hotel All members are asked to attend.

Chicago Fundraiser
Great thanks to all who helped out with our recent fundraiser in The Three Counties in Chicago, especially Shane Campbell, Billy McNicholas, Tom Byrne, Fionnuala Comer, Billy Heneghan, Vinnie O’Hagan, Kevin O’Hagan and all who supported the night.

Michael Walsh Intermediate League
We have been drawn in group 2 with Mayo Gaels, Ardnaree Sarsfields, Louisburgh, Knockmore B and Balla. First round of games are due to be played weekend of 12/13th May.

This weeks draw was held in Horkans and Marie, Shane, Caitlin and megan Philbin of Lislackagh won €800.00.
Envelopes are available in most business premises and online throughΒ www.swinfordgaa.ieΒ where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Bolands on the 6th December. Draw envelopes are available at 3 for €5. The jackpot will be a guaranteed €800

In addition the following people go into a special draw on Friday 23rd December in The Whitehouse for a range of prizes including a a Night away in the Broadhaven Hotel in Belmullet and home heating oil: Conor Joyce, Emma Roughneen, Kevin Quinn, Mary Woodlock and Marian Clarke. Over the next three draws more names will be added to this special pot………

Mayo Minor Manager

Swinford GAA congratulates Damien Gavin on his appointment as Mayo GAA Minor Manager. Damien played for the club through underage to senior level and has also coached at underage for the club. We wish him the best with his new appoinment.

GAA National Club Draw 2017

The GAA through Croke Park have launched the 2017 GAA National Club Draw with great prizes ranging from an Opel Corsa Car to All Ireland packages with 14 prizes in total.Β  Tickets at €10 are available from club officers.

Swinford Killasser Ladies GAA Club

The ladies club are hosting facebook sensation Rory’s Stories in the Gateway Hotel on 3rd December 8pm. Tickets are €10 and are available in the Gateway Hotel, Melletts, club members and on the door on the night.

This weeksΒ draw for Swinford GAA 50/50 draw was held in Melletts on Tuesday 12th January and Ciaran Geraghty of meelick won €705.Β  Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Moores on the 19th January. Draw envelopes are now also available at 3 for €5.

Intermediate Management

At a recent meeting of the Executive of the Club, our new Intermediate management team of Pat O’Neill, Michael Devaney and Eamon Molloy were ratified for 2016. We wish them the best of luck for the coming season.

Club membership is now open for 2016, please contact a club officer. The club will be hosting an underage registration session in the Gateway Hotel on Saturday 23rd January from 11am to 1pm.

The price of membership remains the same as previous years:

Adult Player: €60,

Non-Playing Membership €20,

Under 18: €40, 2 children in family €70 and 3 or more children in family €100.
