Swinford’s Senior team make their second runout in Division 1B of the Mayo Senior League against local rivals, Kiltimagh on Sunday.

This will be another difficult challenge for the Swinford outfit as Kiltimagh have been consistently strong in Division 1B and they will be keen to get their season going, having their game against Kiltane postponed last weekend. With Kiltimagh and Swinford in the same Championship group, each team will want to put in an early marker for the season ahead.

The senior management of Paul Cunney and his selectors, Brian Galvin, Adrian Forkan and Paddy Cunney will be looking for a more settled performance than against Tuar Mhic Éadaigh and that they convert their possession into scores in what will surely be a very competitive and charged game.
