50/50 Draw

This weeks draw for Swinford GAA 50/50 draw was held in Horkans on Bolands 12th May and Johnny Burke and Kevin Geraghty won €863. The winning envelope was part of a 3 for €5 sold in the Sheepwalk last weekend. Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/20/52 weeks. Draw Envelopes are also available in all business premises for the next draw in Heaneys, Killasser on 19th May. Draw envelopes are now also available at 3 for €5.

In the next few weeks the club intend to improve the warm up area adjacent to the Clubhouse by building a supporting wall and laying astro turf and to carry out remedial works to the playing surface of Robert McCallion Memorial Pitch. All underage players are currently been kitted out in club tops. All this work could not be done without the support of the entire community, it is very much appreciated.

Under 16 Finals
Our under 16 team had a very good league campaign but came up short tonight to a good Neale team on a score of The Neale 5-9 Swinford 2-9. Well done to all the players and management for their achievements to date and now roll on the Championship.

Under 12 League
We have two teams competing at under 12 level which is a credit to the team management. Both teams impressed last Monday evening at home to Aghamore.
