Swinford GAA 50/50 draw

The club 50/50 draw was held in Moores and Paddy Brehony won €296

Envelopes are available in business premises in town and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks or from club officers.

The next draw will be in Horkans on the 30th November.

Draw envelopes available for €2 each or 3 for €5.

The club would like to thank everyone for their support. 


Annual General Meeting
The club AGM was held in the Gateway Hotel on the 19th November.

The Chairman Ray Gilmore invited everyone to the meeting and a minutes silence was held for all club members who lost a loved one during the year.

The secretary Katie Kelly read the minutes of the last AGM and gave her report on the year.

The treasurer Niall O’Neill then gave the financial report for the year and the chairman of Bord na nOg Vincent Roughneen gave his report on the underage teams for 2021.

The chairman then gave his report on 2020. All officers thanked the club members and coaches for all their work during what has been a very unusual and difficult year. The election of officers was held and Ray Gilmore was returned as Chairman, Katie Kelly as secretary, Douglas Kelly as PRO, Mauren Noone as cultural officer, Tony Fahey as childrens officer.

The treasurer Niall O’Neill has stepped down as treasurer.

The club will hold a special general meeting at a date to be announced to appoint outstanding officers.
