    This weeks draw was held in Horkans and Dolores Gilmartin of Belass, Foxford won €501
    Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. The next draw is in Bolands on Tuesday 10th December. Draw envelopes available for €2 each or 3 for €5

    Major Event

    We had a fantastic day in Julians on Sunday, thanks to everyone who supported the day. It was a great success.
    Thanks to everyone on the social & fundraising committee who put in many weeks of work to make the day the success it was.
    Thanks to our mc for the day Paddy Cunney, he kept everything moving along.
    Thanks to our hosts, the Julian family for all their help. The day would not have been such a success without them.
    Thanks to Diarmuid O’Connor for coming along for the presentation and to Santa Claus for dropping in during his busy time of year.
    Thanks to all our sponsors who gave so genoursly.

    Congrats to our prizewinners in our big draw.
    1st prize, the trip to Euro Disney was won by Bernie Pektas of Treanlaur.
    2nd prize, the Laptop was won by John, Shane & Sharon Ansboro, Killaturley
    3rd prize, the TV was won by John Dunne, Swinford
    4th prize B&B in Broadhaven was won by Maira Tuffy, Killasser
    5th prize, county board draw ticket was won by Cian Kennedy, Midfield.

    Scor Mhaigh Eo

    Congrats to Orla Connolly on winning Solo Singing at the Scor na nOg County Final on Sunday in Balla and to our ballad group of Aishling Hyland, Aoibheann Brennan, Anna Doherty, Orla Connolly and Sean Healy on winning best group. Thanks to Teresa Brennan and Mairin Noone for all their work. They now go on to represent Mayo in the Connacht Final of Scor na nOg in Claremorris on January 11th.

    Swinford GAA Development Fundraiser Fun Day in Julians, Midfield on Sunday 1st December 2pm with massive auction, Bazaar, medal presentation and launch of the 2020 GAA calendar and lots lots more.

    Swinford GAA 50/50 draw

    This weeks draw was held in Moores and Martin Dunne of Lisheenabrone won €494. The winning envelope was sold by club volunteer Billy McNicholas on Saturday night. 
    Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. The next draw is in Quinns on Tuesday 19th November. Draw envelopes available for €2 each or 3 for €5


    Club Annual General Meeting

    The AGM of the club was held on Sunday 10th November. Before the meeting started Liam Moffatt addressed the meeting and put forward his plan if elected to the position of Chairman of the county board. The Chairman opened the meeting and all members who died during the year were remembered. The secretary gave her report and the minutes of the 2018 meeting, the treasurer provided the financial report for 2018. The Chairman gave his report for the year and thanked all coaches, players, volunteers for their work during the year. The election of officers took place, their were nominations for the Chairman and PRO and Ray Gilmore and Douglas Kelly were deemed elected. There are a number of vacancies and a EGM will have to be held to fill these positions. The meeting finished with a presentation to our outgoing secretary Katie Kelly and outgoing treasurer Deirdre Dunleavy.
