Junior Championship

In a game that we enjoyed a lot of possession and never gave up the scores just would not come and we were defeated on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-3. Balla came into the game as favourites for the Junior Championship and showed why by taking most of their chances created.

We dominated possession in the first half but had too many wides and suffered the loss of James Sweeney very early in the game with an injury and a black card for Kevin McShea midway through the half. We them lost Paul McDonagh through injury at the end of the half. The team didn’t give up and kept going right to the final whistle though the game was beyond us.

Intermediate Championship
